Campus Dining Meal Plan
Which one will work best for me?
The most appropriate meal plan will be a plan that offers weekly visits consistent with the number of meals you would eat on campus each week. Most freshmen and Sophomores select the 15 Meal plan while Juniors and Seniors select the 10 Meal Plan.
How many meals can I use per Day/Week?
Traditional Meal Plans (i.e.10MP, 15MP and 21MP) include a set number of visits per week to the Deacon Jones Dining Hall (ie. 15 Meal Plan gives you 15 Meals per week). Meal visits reset on Friday morning of each week so you start the week off fully loaded.
Traditional Meal Plans (i.e.10MP, 15MP and 21MP) can only be used up to five (5) time a day, if available. There is no limit between meal plan usage. You can still access the dining hall if you exceed your predetermined number of visits; however you must pay with flex dollars, Burgundy Bucks, cash or credit card for each visit beyond that daily or weekly allowance.
For students who do not want usage restrictions on their meal plan, we created the Unlimited Meal Plan.
The dining hall and retail locations will be closed during University breaks.
What is Flex Dollars?
Each meal plan has a set amount of Flex Dollars per semester (for example the 15MP has $60 in flex for the semester). These flex dollars can be used for food purchases at any of our campus retail outlets. If you run out of flex, you cannot purchase more flex, but can add Burgundy Bucks to your account. This can be done from any of our cash registers. Unlike Flex Dollars, Burgundy Bucks do not go away at the end of the semester. Burgundy Bucks roll over into the following semester so they are a great addition any time!
75 Block Plan. What are they?
Block Meal Plans are simply a block of meals that are debited each time you use one. These plans are based on a semester (usually 16 weeks) of usage. You may use these meals anytime you wish, but only at the dining hall. Flex Dollars can be used to purchase items at the retail venues. Block Plans expire at the end of each semester or when the last available meal is used. This plan is available for commuters only. Meals for all Meal Plans including the 75 Block are non-transferable and may be used only by the meal plan participant. You can use your Declining Balance account or flex dollars for your guest.
Continuous dining all day, every day at Deacon Jones Dining. This meal plan is perfect for anyone who wants unlimited meals…and is by far the BEST meal plan for the hungry student or student athlete. No meal equivalency available on this plan.
This plan gives you enough meals each semester at a budget-minded price. Use your meals at Deacon Jones "all-you-care-to-eat" buffets, or Meal Equivalency at Chick-fil-A, Subway, Einstein Bros Bagels, Dunkin Donuts or Jazzman's Café.
This plan is for commuters that are on campus a few days a week. The 75 Meals may be used for our "all-you-care-to-eat" buffets at Deacon Jones Dining. The $75 Flex can be used at Chick fil-A, Subway, Einstein Bros Bagels, Dunkin Donuts or Jazzman's Café.
(Available for all students BUT Freshmen still need to be on a Meal Plan as well). Burgundy Bucks funds are just like cash - dollar for dollar. This is money you add to your Lee ID card for additional campus dining spending. The advantage is that you do not get taxed on meal purchases. Your Burgundy Bucks are accepted at all on-campus dining locations. You can add money to your Burgundy Bucks account from our website www.leedining.com or at any of our dining locations. A Burgundy Bucks account can be opened with a deposit minimum of $75.
