Our breakfast station features made-to-order omelets and breakfast sandwiches, scrambled eggs, proteins of the day, hash browns, oatmeal with all of the toppings, grits, buttermilk biscuits, sausage gravy, hard boiled eggs and a starch of the day – even the heartiest appetite is sure to be satisfied.
Your International/Action Station.
Time-tested, authentic recipes from the world over will tempt Lee students to embark on a voyage of delicious dining opportunities. From exotic Asian-inspired dishes to nouvelle West Coast cuisine to “create your own” dishes, the Chef’s Table will cater to each student’s favorite flavors. This action station will feature items like gumbo, risotto, fish tacos, as well as vegan and vegetarian creations. Chef’s Table will drive participation and student engagement as they watch their meals being created by the chefs with new EVO grills.
Your Comfort and Carving Entrée Station.
A contemporary twist on the nostalgic, Daily Dish will offer authentic world dishes of restaurant quality. From comforting menu items from your new rotisserie oven to meatloaf that could rival Mom’s to Tikka Masala or a classic New England pot roast, students will find their favorites, accompanied by a wide variety of wholesome grains, starches and fresh vegetable sides. Whether country-fried, slow-cooked, mashed, braised, baked or scrambled, the offerings from this station will satisfy Lee diners’ cravings for comfort-style entrées and breakfasts.
The health and well-being of each campus community we serve is at the forefront of everything we do. This includes ensuring all of our constituents can be provided with a variety of delicious food options, regardless of food and allergen intolerances. That is the purpose of Sodexo’s award-winning Simple Servings station. For the growing number of students who arrive on college campuses with food allergies, celiac disease or gluten intolerance, choosing meals can present undue anxieties. If not properly supported, it can also be dangerous – even fatal. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, teenagers and young adults with food allergies are at the highest risk of fatal food-induced anaphylaxis, making it essential that properly prepared foods and clear information about their ingredients be accessible to Lee students and guests at every meal. It is also very important that students properly communicate their needs, and we are confident they will soon become comfortable speaking directly to our chefs.
Simple Servings enables students to address food allergies or other dietary concerns without feeling singled out. Lunch and dinner menus change daily, offering an array of protein options (fin fish, beef, pork, chicken and turkey), as well as vegetarian dishes. The risk of cross-contamination is minimized too, because specially trained food service employees use only food, equipment, utensils and preparation/storage areas designated for Simple Servings.
Additionally, this station will use allergen-safe oils in cooking and preparing foods, such as coconut oil, olive oil, macadamia oil, avocado oil and the like.

A Favorite for Meat Lovers and Vegetarians/Vegans Alike!
A favorite for meat lovers and vegetarians/vegans alike! From juicy, made-to-order burgers to grilled cheese and specialty sandwiches – like falafel served on flatbread with freshly prepared tzatziki sauce – to vegan burgers, quesadillas and hot dogs, the grill station will serve hot, fresh and delicious temptations. Students who find themselves short on time will appreciate the convenience offered by a selection of just-made hot burgers and sandwiches wrapped and ready for their grab-and-go convenience. Sauces to accompany these delicious grilled creations will be prepared daily and other favorites will include freshly-cut potato fries prepared in front of our customers at a new station, and grilled desserts like chocolate cherry pound cake.
Fresh from the Fields
Featuring Locally-sourced Fresh Produce.
The fresh-from-the-market style of dining is what makes Fresh from the Fields so special. Lee diners will be delighted by the vast selection of fresh salad and market selections: a bountiful salad bar with an assortment of fresh seasonal greens, veggies and fruits – including those locally sourced from Cleveland and nearby Tennessee farms whenever available. With a variety of customizable entrées and pre-made, packaged daily selections, Fresh from the Fields will add variety and excitement for Lee students, faculty and staff alike. These delicious salads will be tossed to order with freshly-sautéed and sizzling proteins directly by the students.
Crunchy croutons, delicious toppings – like feta cheese, steamed edamame, hard boiled eggs and mushrooms, – homemade dressings – like Tabouli, Caesar and Italian – and an expanded noodle variety – like ramen, udon or soba – will add the perfect finishing touch to any meal.
Your Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten-free Dining Station Featuring an EVO Grill.
Specially chosen dishes offered at Basil will make it a favorite for Lee's vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free students. Although vegan and vegetarian options will be available in other dining formats across your campus, The Market Place, Basil will be dedicated to meeting these dining preferences. Featuring hearty entrees like eggplant carbonara, griddled sandwiches and quinoa primavera, along with flavorful accompaniments like bulgur wheat salad and black bean stew, Basil is sure to be a favorite among students with special dietary needs, as well as those looking to try new flavors.
Soups and Chili
Fresh-made soups warm the stomach as well as the heart – hearty, distinctive and created to meet the various dietary needs for the Lee campus community. Each day, Lee students will find an enticing selection of vegetarian and protein-based soups and chili from which to choose.
Look forward to delicious soup du jour specials like Chinese Hot and Sour or broccoli cheddar soups along with a daily selection of zesty thick chili topped with homemade jalapeno cornbread croutons.
Of course, no meal is complete without the right beverage. Your new dining program will include them all. A drip coffee and espresso machine will be available for students to enjoy their favorite bres, a slush machine and a tea tower presenting an assortment of green and black teas will accompany a choice of milk (2%, skim, chocolate), sodas and juices to meet a wide variety of taste and dietary preferences. Aspretto – Sodexo’s unique ethical coffee and tea brand – will also be available.
Students looking for the perfect treat to end a meal – or just to satisfy their sweet tooth at any time of day – will find taste-tempting solutions ranging from freshly made pastries and muffins at breakfast time to homemade cookies, pies and cakes, cobblers and more at lunch and dinner. Lee diners can look forward to delicious creations like carrot, zucchini, pumpkin and chocolate chip muffins to oatmeal and raisin, almond, walnut blondies and the classic chocolate chip cookies served warm – sometimes hot!
